I am currently serving as the Branch Chief of Joint Fires, ISAF Headquarters (NATO), Kabul, Afghanistan.  My team and I are responsible for managing the fires support of all 5 regions of the Afghan theater, and it is anything but boring.  For a Navy guy having to come up to speed on land warfare, it gives me a good challenge to tackle daily.  Heck, compared to the 3 wk compressed Arrrrrrmy training I had to do prior to shipping off, it's easy (and I don't have to eat any more of those damn MREs either).

I am getting to the backside of my tour, and I hope to return home by May.  Then it will be focusing on spending time with my wife and 2 baby girls, and getting back to work flying as a Captain for American Eagle Airlines.

Attached is my "Rambo" photo taken during my final phase of Army Training on the Udari Range Kuwait.  Of course my daily wear now is not as glamorous.  I only look like this when I go off base.
